The Unbreakable

Of the 153 passengers boarded on flight IY626 in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen, mysteriously one little girl survived the crash. This incident reminded me a bruce willis movie 'The Unbreakable' by the spooky story teller Night Shyamalan. The plot starts from a birth of a black child who's bones are broken while delivery. Later the hero (bruce) becomes a lone survivor of a deadly train crash, then he receives a note from Samuel Jackson, who says that he was the baby who born with the fractured bones, and suffering a from a syndrome that would break his bones even in a tiny hit. He says, he believed if he was the extreme weak of all, there should be one who is the extreme strong, and he believes that Bruce (as he survived the deadly accident) is the strongest. Story moves on with bruce's denial and moves on the to his assertion of finding himself as told by jackson, he becomes a superman kind of hero who busts muggers..etc.. and the final twist is really good, where it ends as bruce finding it out that it was jackson who purposivly made that train accident (and few more before that) in order to just find out if anyone survives, and whoever survives is the unbreakable.

More than the plot, the narration, screenplay and cinematorgraphy are the catchy items in this movie. Btw, lets pray for the 14 year old little girl who survived the deadly plane crash.

  3. I am reminded of the days when i used to go to college by bus.

An incident that talks about Perseverance.
...but before that let me set the stage for the scene

You know i lived in a modern village.. where you could find almost any new car released in the market. It prodly ploughs the streets of our colony... however there is no proper public transport for the rest of th einhabitants...

would you believe if i say the the MP lived in the same locality... hated to say that he was related to me... I hated to vote for him again... Proudly warming the seats for 14 yrs...

    okay the stroy now...

a very close friend of mine happened to stay overnight at my house. next day we left for college together in the same bus (without an option) hanging from the "foot board"...

Its not an exageration to say that it costs a person life if you just miss the grip for a split second. but we were experts and got used to it...

My friend who was new to such a thing starting showing sighs of discomfort withing minutes.. then i heard him whine, calling out my name... within few minutes he was almost in tears, pleading to stop the bus..

I was wondering why couldn't he hold on for the next 2 kms. that taught me the meaning of Perseverance..

the girl who survived really had the Perseverance to cling on.
